Welcome to the 'Minnesota's Historic Bridges' exhibit. There are currently 27 bridges online with text and photographs from the National Register of Historic Places nominations. The focus of the exhibit are the state's masonry arch, truss and reinforced concrete arch bridges. Use the Bridges by Location or Bridges by Type links below to view the bridges. The Stillwater Bridge in Washington County, the Split Rock Bridge in Pipestone County, and the Robert Street Bridge in Ramsey County are excellent places to start.
The 'Preserving Minnesota's Cultural Resources'
web site is jointly sponsored by the State Historic Preservation
Office (SHPO) of the Minnesota
Historical Society, the Minnesota
Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) under
Agreement No. 75077.
